Residence 1960 exceeded all my expectations during my stay in Siem Reap. Traveling solo can sometimes feel daunting, but thanks to their incredible communication prior to my arrival, every single detail was pre-arranged. I had zero worries before I even landed, knowing I was in good hands.
The hotel team handled all my itinerary planning seamlessly. From organizing smooth airport pickups and drop-offs to putting together a fantastic packed breakfast for an early morning start at Angkor Wat, every detail was thought through. The drivers they arranged for both tuk-tuks and taxis were punctual, incredibly kind, and completely reliable.
A special mention must go to Mr. Boy, my English-speaking guide. He was absolute magic—knowledgeable, patient, and deeply familiar with the area. Beyond guiding me through the Small Circuit temple tour, he took amazing photos for me and led a brilliant countryside cycle tour.
When I asked for local performance recommendations, the team suggested booking a seat at the Apsara Theatre for dinner and a show. They recommended it for its traditional setup over other venues, and it turned out to be an incredible, memorable highlight of my trip.
If you are a solo traveler looking for top-notch service, superb communication, and genuinely caring local guidance, Residence 1960 is the absolute best choice. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had a super relaxed time staying here! The property offers incredible value for money and is spotlessly clean. As someone who travels a lot, I can truly say the staff here is the kindest I've met lately a special thanks to Regina 💜!

Breakfast was fine. Service was excellent and very friendly and helpful.
Coffee could have been better. The pool had an slick on it that put me off going for a swim. The location was a bit remote and given the heat, not within reasonable walking distance to much at all.
