Here you have the possibility to stay at a traditional Japanese house. It is renovated and well maintained and the owner is taking good care of the house and you as a guest. Communication works good in Japanese and a bit of English with technology helping with the translation when needed. The host is giving you local advises around the area based on your interests and also introduces you to local traditions, like drinking Japanese tea and local food culture. Everything in the house was clean and sleeping on a traditional futon was also comfortable. The house is located just a 10-15 minutes walk from the Shinkansen train station and is in a very remote and quiet area. Nevertheless Supermarkets, convinience stores, restaurants etc. are just a short walk away. Also by using local trains you easily can do day trips to other places visiting nature and history. If you want to experience staying in a traditional Japanese house I only can recommned to stay here.

The tatami room was comfortable, the shared room was clean and always full of free snacks, and the bathroom was fully stocked. Staying here was extremely comfortable and convenient. Best of all, however, was the host Sanae-san. Sanae went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable, she was a huge help in planning our days, and on our final day, she made us fresh matcha and brought us some local presents. Checking out of Guest House Fushinoan broke my heart. Please stay here for a wonderful experience. All the best to Sanae.

夜に着いた事もあり、わかりづらい場所でしたがオーナーが外まで出てきて下さり案内していただきました。 また、冷蔵庫にお水やお茶のペットボトルもあり、ありがたかったです。 オーナーも優しく親切に接して頂きました。
真夏日という事もあり、扇風機1台では寝苦しく子供共々何度も目が覚めてしまいました。
また、食事はリビングのみでとの事でしたので、宿に帰り食事をしようと思いリビングに入ったら既に入眠中の方々がいて気まずい中での食事時間となりました。 冷暖房完備であれば、また宿泊したいと思います。
