This was truly an exceptional stay and, without a doubt, probably the best place I have stayed in Ireland. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely beautiful. The entire property and grounds are stunning, incredibly well looked after, and exceptionally clean. It is very clear how much care and attention the owners put into the place. We saw them around every day, all day, working, maintaining the grounds and making sure everything was perfect. They were so lovely, friendly and helpful, and all of the staff were equally welcoming, kind and attentive. The cottage we stayed in was absolutely amazing , beautiful, cozy and incredibly comfortable. It genuinely felt like a home away from home, but with all the facilities and little luxuries you would expect from the very best hotels. Everything was so thoughtfully done and made our stay feel really special. The facilities throughout the property were fantastic. The sauna, hydro pool and jacuzzi were absolutely amazing, and the relaxation area was beautiful, peaceful and so cozy. It was the perfect place to unwind and switch off. And the views… absolutely breathtaking. The whole setting is just spectacular and makes you feel so lucky to be there. We spent two fabulous days here with my mum, cousin and aunt, and they absolutely loved it too. We all had such an amazing time and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you to the owners and the entire team for making our stay so special. This is definitely a place I will be coming back to. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and truly special. We absolutely loved every minute of it!

A thoughtful and delicious breakfast was provided -good quality yoghurt, fruit compote, fresh eggs and delicious bread butter, honey & Jam. Milk, Orange juice, tea and coffee options. Friendly host who explained layout, facilities and how to use equipment (Japanese bath etc..). utterly beautiful surroundings, you can sit outside in your soak bath and watch the moon come up over the hills. Wild deer roam around and there are well planned communal spaces which offer some free refreshments -this was appreciated.

It was expensive. I expect you are paying for the location views and upkeep. The eco-approach (compostable Loos and light your own soak bath might not appeal to everyone. Some of the saunas were listed as being on at certain times but we had to do this manually and so there was always a time delay. Pricing may suit smaller groups or couples well for bigger groups this is something to be aware of .

Property was in an excellent location, great amenities like hot tub overlooking the hills, well functioning sauna, swimming pool (a bit small but was okay), clean villa etc. Staff was very friendly, especially Emma. Good breakfast basket with fresh milk, eggs & bread etc.

Food was not nice at all. We did a sharing meal for 4 of us on Saturday costing 200 euros. The food was almost inedible because they were too sweet, chicken skewers were cold and hard, venison burgers were sweetened with tons of chutney/ jam etc. It was a massive waste of money and quality ingredients. If they can sort the food issue out, the property would get an excellent choice.

The whole experience! An amazing place. Ambience, atmosphere, environment...all perfect! Offers a total switch off and wind down experience. Its spaced out so accommodation is not on top of each other; the privacy of the accommodation; the amount of saunas on offer to use throughout the site. The complementary breakfast for the first morning - mostly homemade or organic produce... The BBQ so we could cook our own meals if desired... We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary but it was only mentioned to them in a passing comment, and yet they very generously left us a complimentary organic bottle of Prosecco to say congratulations - that was a really lovely gesture! We barely saw anyone during our two night stay! It was definitely one of our best breaks away. This place is a real hidden gem 💎
