A charming cocoon in the mountains, ideal for a couple or a small family, awaits you in a fortified village classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This cosy accommodation located on the 1st floor with a private balcony equipped with a table and chairs offers a warm and atypical space, designed to make you feel at home. You will find a comfortable living room with space for everyone, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a BZ for two people. The bathroom has a clog bathtub very popular with children, and the toilets are separate. Parking is free in the village, in the immediate vicinity. This unique place, designed by Vauban, seduces with its fascinating history, its remarkable architecture and its breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys. During the day, you can explore the underground on a guided tour, enjoy a spectacular panorama from the orientation table, observe the stars at night and go for a walk on the marmot trail. A playground is free of charge next to the house, in a plantation of hundred-year-old trees. The location is strategic between the Briançonnais valley, the Queyras and the Écrins park, with easy access to the ski resorts of Vars and Risoul via free shuttles at the bottom of the village. The surrounding area is full of activities: hiking on the GR5, climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, rafting, zip line, bungee jumping, ice climbing, water sports, cycling, mini-golf, or the Saint-Crépin aerodrome. You can also relax at the warm natural lake of Phasy. Gourmets will appreciate the local cheese dairy, local products such as tourtons, charcuterie and cabbage sausage, as well as the nearby fairground markets. The small town of Guillestre, 6 minutes away by car, offers all the necessary services: supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, doctors and sports equipment rental.
