Great place to stay!

Nice location

Confession: When I first arrived, I briefly wished I’d sprung for one of the expensive bougie chain hotels in San Juan. But after a good night’s sleep, I woke up in love with this place. Ocean to one side, forest and coquis on the other, and you feel like you’re just staying over with generous friends in their guest room. I’m not sure why Orbitz says there’s a spa on this property; there isn’t. But Chi Spa above the Lujillo bakery is a short walk away, and Jasmin (Mina) and her team offer excellent service. The property itself is quiet (except for some drunk idiots one night that management dealt with, and occasional noise from the neighboring property, which happens everywhere). Staff are super friendly and helpful. Bathroom could have used a touch of paint and better lighting, but the room was a comfortable retreat thanks to the wall A/C unit, soft bed, and blackout curtains. The rocky oceanfront is not a swimming beach, but the deck is a great spot to sip coffee in the morning and watch ocean wildlife doing its thing undisturbed. Swimmable beach is available five minutes’ walk to the east, and a little beyond that is the Lujillo kiosks with great food at all price points. If you have a car, it’s easy to get to any of the bigger tourist destinations and activities. If you want to stay close to home, the neighborhood has several good eateries facing Rt 3. Don’t sleep on the little outdoor grill place with its garlic-butter chicken pinchos!

my mom and i had our first trip together and stayed here. WE LOVED IT! From the pink colors to the hotel themes to the pro mixologist in the cocktail area...I could have stayed here forever. We are so so glad we found you guys, what a happy accident. The rooms were clean, the a/c worked, the view was amazing, the kitty cat on premises was precious, the pool was great, the free water was awesome, the mermaid class! I could go on and on about this place, and on top of it right next to a secluded beach! thank you again! thank you for giving us a memorable experience without the horrid prices of the resorts! we appreciate what you do!
