Le Vert Angkor Hotel

Good value, nice rooftop pool, reasonably priced.

- I stayed here for 2 weeks, and I honestly am very happy I picked this hotel. I am actually now a bit dissatisfied with the other hotels I've stayed at / am staying at because of this one. - The property and room were as expected, or actually better than. - This was at a very good location, near restaurants with good food and very affordable. It's also near Phsar Khmer, a food court that presents traditional shows every night. The river is pretty close, and in the evening you can go there to eat at the riverside stalls. It's only about 5 minutes' tuktuk ride from Wat Bo, with all the nice cafes. - My room had trouble with power due to a combination of power-saving measures (by the local government?) + maintenance work, so the room's power somehow just kept failing. The staff rectified it immediately and upgraded me to a better room with working power. - You can select 8 different dishes (4 western and 4 khmer) for breakfast, and all were very good. There are also days when they do buffets so you can try everything. If you want something else, there are cafes and restaurants nearby. - The hotel offers a laundry service for $2 per kilogram, which is very reasonable. None of that per-item nonsense done by other hotels. - The staff were very friendly, smart, and anticipated my needs ahead of time always. I honestly wish I could have given more to the tip box, but I was out of cash by the time I checked out. - They always make sure to give me an umbrella when it's raining out, even when I forget to ask. - I had a friend drop by for a couple of hours because she checked out from her hotel and needed somewhere to hang out before going to the airport, and they were very helpful to my friend as well and even helped carry her luggage!) - Housekeeping was amazing too I would definitely book this hotel again if I'm ever back in Siem Reap

Outstanding staff! Always smiling and ready to assist. Our room was spacious, bright and very clean. Location was perfect for walkability. We would love to stay here again if given the opportunity to return to Siem Reap. Such lovely people!
