Lovely accommodation and setting. The interior of the house is excellent. The kitchen area with expansive windows is a great area to sit and enjoy relaxing either inside or out on the patio. An additional large table in the garden was perfect for an evening meal. Carsington Water is a short walk away or drive to the visitor centre where you will find good facilities for all ages. Nick was very helpful and responsive to queries. Would highly recommend.

Everything!!!
The holiday home is just absolutely stunning. It is finished to a perfect standard, magically beautiful, spacious and clean. We have loved the everything about it. We can highly recommend this place. AMAZING ****

The property is superbly designed and tastefully decorated. It was in a quiet area of Derbyshire, which we were looking for. Finding it was a bit tricky, but the owner's check-in instructions were handy. The property has most items for our 6-night stay, including pots, pans, crockery, glasses, cutlery, and kitchen utensils. We also received cleaning supplies, including access to a vacuum cleaner that helped us keep the property tidy, considering five adults were staying there. It is also equipped with a floor heating system, which is super comfortable and easy to adjust.
We enjoyed having natural daylight directly at the back of the dining room/kitchen at the ground level. (It was a severe storm season when we stayed there, so we got only two days to see the lake view from the property. During summer, the view must be breathtaking). The owners, Pam and Nick, were friendly and helpful.
Things that could be improved are the surprising noise from (what I assumed) a water heating system located on the ground floor behind the bedroom. The machine started rattling if the hot water supply was not at a certain level. Other things that could be improved are the washer/dryer machine instead of just a washer because there is no dedicated area where we can hang washed clothes and more supplies of washing tablets for the dishwasher, especially for a big group with extended stay.
