Taranto and the sea are just a pleasant drive away. You will return from your sightseeing trips full of enthusiasm, as the heel of Italy's boot, as this region is often called, has a lot to offer. Visit the historic town centers, most of which are in Baroque style and feature ornately decorated house facades and ochre-colored building blocks. In addition, the Puglia region, so rich in culture and tradition, offers outstanding local cuisine and excellent wines.
