This apartment is surrounded by cobblestone streets and classic Parisian cafes. It faces Ile de la Cité, where you can find the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Sainte- Chappelle church. This centrally located apartment with a fully functional kitchen (oven, gas stovetop, laundry and dishwasher) and bathtub, has all of the basics of home. Within a 5 minute walk you are at the metro line 10. In 10 minutes, the metro line 4 as well as the RER B and RER C.

This comfortable and nicely decorated apartment was absolutely wonderful! We never tired of looking out the windows at Notre Dame a block away. Occasionally the bells of the cathedral would ring, and it was magical. The location is great, near the Musee de Cluny (medieval art), with many restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and small groceries in the area. It was a short walk to the Louvre and Sainte Chappelle, a little farther to the Musee d'Orsay. Subway to and from the airport stopped a block away.

The location can’t be beat; you are near everything within walking or main metro lines to get around the city. The area is busy so there is street noise but the bedroom is tucked back and quiet save for some noisy pigeons outside. The apartment is a typical Parisian layout with the living room being the most spacious. The bedroom fits two comfortably except for the cumbersome bedframe that is not attached to the bed (we kept bumping into it and it was knocked off place). It was really handy to have a washer and drier to do laundry and there is a decent sized fridge.We found the apartment not very clean when we arrived: the fridge had not been cleaned and there was dust on some of the areas in the living room and kitchen. The tub/shower also was not draining and we pulled a large chunk of hair out of the drain that wasn’t our own.The communication with the host was very slow: we notified the host of the drain issue a day after we arrrived and they did not respond for 4 days. To note: you pick up the key at a hotel close by, but pickup/drop off hours are limited so if you have an early flight you may need to notify the host on how to pickup or get them the key back depending on your travels.
