Its a comfortable stay in Talsi

Its not very soundproof and we could hear quite a lot from upstairs.

Great place with a sauna in Talsi!

Well maintained apartment. Pretty much ready to use sauna (just had to heat for 60-90m). Everything was well thought out - great amenities (BT Speaker was a nice surprise), supplies (tea, coffee)

The remote for lights needs new batteries. The mattress asn't the most comfortable, but not a big issue. The frame seemed flimsy too. Nit-pick: one of the curtain rods is hanging a nail instead of 2.

Three words: sauna, sauna, and sauna!

This place is all about the sauna. The sauna is the real deal. Absolutely fantastic. The host leaves firewood and kindle ready in the oven, so it takes less than 1h to warm up. There's plenty of extra firewood as well. The room is generally good, yet simple (basic Ikea furniture all around). There is some instant coffee and tea and a kettle. The entrance is separate from the main house, so it feels private. Good for a single night or weekend stay. It's all about the sauna.

While the room was mostly clean, the tea kettle had leftover tea from previous guests and there were some dusty spots under the table and near the bed. I would suggest the host to use the same cleaning checklists used by hotels, to ensure consistency. There is no kitchen in the room, which is mostly fine, but having to rinse dishes in the bathroom sink is not ideal. Sauna hats and birch leaf bunches could be available as well, given that the sauna is them main attraction.

Perfect one night stop for enjoying sauna and beautiful and intresting Talsi city

Sauna was very good and allready loaded with wood, so it was a joy to warm it up. Bed was good and place was safe, peaceful, clean and calming. Host was friendly.

Viegli atrast un precīza informācija par iekļūšanu numuriņā, kā arī, kur novietot auto. Pirts vienā apjomā ar guļamistabu. Vakarā varēja pasēdēt pagalmā ar domu skatīties "zvaigžņu lietu" - tik žēl, ka pilsētas gaismas un mākoņi to neļāva.

Tualetē durvis uzbriedušas un nevar aiztaisīt.
