Comfortable. Everything worked.

Beautiful in great location

We were not made aware the spa steam room was out of action. The jacuzzi was freezing so we could not go in it therefore the pool and sauna were the only options. The pool was also very cold. This was the main disappointment

A smart hotel with a very comfortable room. Very clean & staff who were very friendly & attentive. It was dog friendly & plenty of good walks nearby. For me the location was great.

The spa facilities are small so unless you pre book access to the pool etc you don't have a chance to getting a slot at a time which suits you, especially if families are staying. As stated in other reviews the steam room is often out of service. It may be different in low season. The village doesn't have anything else going on - the only pub is closed. The restaurant menu is limited & niche & wine expensive by the bottle - good for a special occasion but you are a long way from another restaurant.

It appeared understaffed, a little sruffy and cheap decor. Maybe just not our taste rather than bad.
