We always get a villa when we travel abroad and we look for somewhere that gives us privacy away from the hustle, bustle and noise of urban life. When we saw Villa Levatinka it looked like it offered everything we needed and it didn't disappoint. Just 15 mins from Zadar airport on the outskirts of the quiet town of Prkos, the Villa is situated down a very quiet road which has a dead end. It stands behind a large gate and well kept hedges to ensure safety and privacy. Behind the gate you are greeted with large gardens, an olive grove and crystal clear pool. Whilst the building is two storey, only the ground floor is accessible. This is not an issue as the floor space is huge so you have plenty of room and space. We were greeted by Branko the owner who doesn't speak any english but we had fun translating and chatting using google translate. He was lovely and made us feel very welcome. He showed us around the villa and ensured we knew everything we needed to know. Megy arrived who spoke english and she made sure we were settled and shared contact details should we need them. The villa is equipped with all the essentials with plenty of crockery and cutlery, a filter coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Some of the outstanding points of our stay. The pool is crystal clear and a decent size. Branko came very early everyday to make sure it was cleaned and tidied the garden area if needed. The outside space is huge with grass areas, trees, olive grove and Branko's vegetable garden at the back. There is lots of wildlife and birds which i especially enjoyed. In the grounds is a building with a large BBQ/fire for cooking with lots of seating outside. The building has a fully equipped kitchen inside which is very helpful and we used the BBQ a number of times during our stay cooking over wood and coals. The location for us was perfect with a 20 min drive to Zadar.
