This was my second stay here. It’s very convenient and within walking distance of the bus station. There are also lots of great restaurants nearby. The Chinese restaurant next to the hostel is really delicious! I really enjoyed my stay!
The bar nearby was too noisy, but this is not the hostel’s fault. I don’t think a bar like that should be located in a residential area.

The host was very welcoming and responsive. The location was very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the bus station. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable.

It was such a great homey vibe in the midst of the city. I felt so calm entering this space coming from the hustle and bustle of San Jose, and I'm so glad I booked at Lola's. It is super clean and comfortable and is now my stay when passing through San Jose. Lola herself was extremely kind, and was very patient with me when I asked to practice my Spanish and she was sweet enough to help me with that throughout the check-in.
