A lovely little sanctuary nestled in the countryside just 3 mins walk to the beach. The shepherd's hut was so cosy and had all the facilities you would need including outdoor seating area. John the host was very welcoming and helpful. I really appreciated being able to check in early as there were no guests staying the previous night.

We had a lovely stay! The host was really friendly and helpful, and the location was great. There’s a beautiful beach nearby and Carlingford is a lovely area to explore. Would definitely recommend!

This was my and my golden retriever 2nd stay in this gem of a place! If you wanna escape into a cute, comfortable ,peaceful place then this is it! Only 5 min walk to a long, beautiful beach( that is always empty) and under 10 min drive to Carlingford.
We love this place, certainly will stay more often and longer.

It was close to the beach (walking distance), clean, cozy, quiet. Great for our 2-year-old too as we were able to close the gate and the yard was closed off then for him to play. John was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed for two nights and were so relaxed it felt like a week.
