Recommend for your short stay

The location is quite close to Funchal The property was clean and well equipped with everything you need for your stay The host is friendly, provided clear check in instructions and recommended a good car rental service

Insect Hotel

- Close to a shopping mall and highway

The apartment (especially apartment C) has potential, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. When I arrived, there were dead insects and ants in the room. A towel had been used to remove a moth and was left that way, so I had to wash the towels and clean the bathroom and floors myself at the beginning of the stay. I reported the issue to the host, and while they said they would look into it, the problem with ants remained till end of my stay. Communication was also challenging — my request for early check-in was not acknowledged on the agreed day, and several messages during the stay went unanswered or needed multiple follow-ups. Plus at 4-5am in the morning the rooster starts to scream.

Good location, nice and clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen was well kitted out and everywhere was clean. The location was ideal for catching the bus with a nice bar down the road. The communication was great through WhatsApp giving us all the information about self check in and any queries we had.

Like some other reviews have mentioned the fridge does get a bit loud at night.

Nice stay next to a wonderful bar

Lovely small room, parking was really handy, as it would be a real challenge to park on the street. The room was very clean and there is everything you need for a stay (cups, cutlery, etc) The pictures and the room were a bit different (e.g., our room did not have an ocean view), so assume it’s because there are multiple rooms that can be rented.

Quite small, so it is good if you do not plan to spend too much time inside. Fridge is too loud, so can be a problem in the night.
