This place was perfect for a couple looking to have a very quiet time away, surrounded by peace and water and nature. The view from the cabin is incredible -- you are looking directly out onto the islands and waters of the archipelago. The cabin is pretty basic but has all you need for a somewhat rustic stay -- nice bathroom, small kitchen with stove and basic cookware, and living/sleeping room. Gert is a charming host who even took us for a ride in his boat to the nearest island to buy groceries. The island itself has a lovely, simple nature trail that winds through multiple habitats and along a natural harbor.
We found this beautiful and it fit what we were looking for, however a prospective renter should know that the island has no commerce of any kind. There are a handful of other houses, all of them weekend/vacation homes, and that's it. No restaurant, no shops, no groceries. Nearest island with groceries is half hour away by boat. The commercial ferry also does not stop at the island -- the closest stop is 10 minutes away by boat. Gert picks you up in his little private boat.

The cottage is nice and comfortable. The owner is very flexible to arrange the stay according to ferry timetable. The location is absolutely superb and uttermost peacefull. The island has some nice walks giving you the opportunity to observe the wildlife and discover the rich vegetation.
The facilities like the pier and the equipment like the kayak and SUP are somewhat worn down, but everything is somehow working just fine

Läget! Den väldigt snälla och flexibla personalen! Att det var så avslappnat och naturorienterat.
Vi fick inte stugan vi bokade p g a en dubbelbokning som booking gjorde. Dock såg personalen till att vi fick en väldigt härlig glampingupplevelse istället.

La nature, la vue, le calme. L’hôte est adorable il vient nous chercher et nous accompagne sur une île voisine.
