It was very cozy and comfortable. When I arrived heating was on, pleasant temperature indoor. The apartment was fully equipped. The neighbourhood is not the most fancy one, but it had a certain vibe which I liked. I slept very well, the room, the bed was very comfortable. It is very easy to get to the apartment from JFK, but also to Manhattan, it is very close to the Cypres Hills' stop of J train.
This is rather just some idea of improvement: Not dirty by any mean, but the cleaning felt superficial, some parts like AC etc. would need deeper cleaning sometimes. Even though the apartment is fully separated, there were some privacy gaps. The door of the apartment (inside the building) was very "loose", meaning there was a visible gap between the door and the frame, which I tried to cover with my scarf. The soundproofing is like non-existent, in the bathroom I could hear what the people next door were talking about and when there were people above me on the second floor, who made some love, it felt like we are in the same room and they would fall through the ceiling any second, tho it was not annoying for me but rather funny. The street can be noisy too. The neighbourhood's vibe I liked, but certain times it felt more like Mexico than being in the US, which made the communication in English hard sometimes. Even in some oldschool pub nearby, which felt like a British pub by interior, the staff barely spoke any English. I arrived sooner than expected, I was exhausted after 12 hours travelling, it was cold, and I was walking around with all my luggages, so I asked If I can occupy the apartment an hour earlier, but the answer was no, which I udnerstand, but instead of full rejection would have been nice if I could have left my luggage there at least, but this was maybe just a communication gap.

L’emplacement et le voisinage : musique toute la nuit pendant 2 nuit. Le quartier n’est pas très sécurisant.
Manque de place et d’équipement pour cuisiner et mettre ses affaires (pas d’armoires)La douche mérite un bon nettoyage en profondeur
