Best place on the island of Tahiti!If you love snorkeling, the reefs are directly below with private water entrance. Garden and infinity pool is amazing. Full kitchen and grill on the patio. Sunsets in the evening on the patio. Henri is a superb host — very responsive and gracious.

The pool, outdoor areas, view of Moorea, common areas and location were fantastic and you could snorkel and paddleboard from the house. However, I think this listing should be modified because they rent the house with two separate listings and it was super confusing that the option is with or without the master bedroom, not just one less bedroom or bed. The master bedroom was locked which left us one shower for five people and a half bath. Of the three bedrooms that were unlocked, one was the size of a master closet with a twin bed and had no air conditioning. It was not usable to sleep for anyone larger than a toddler, including our almost 6 foot teenagers or at those temps. One of the two bedrooms that were unlocked had an extra Murphy bed so at least two of our teenage sons could share a bed, but it was not our plan to share a bedroom with our children when paying for a romantic Tahitian beach house vacation. The house needed updating which looked to be underway. The bedroom area floors had outdoor temporary carpeting cut to fit.Kitchen was well appointed with needs for cooking and even entertaining. Bring Nespresso pods.Overall, beautiful property but really needs to modify listing for straightforwardness of what the options are for the different listings. We would have happily paid for another usable bedroom to fit our family, had we understood the listing we chose had no master and we would be crammed in two bedrooms, not at all the quality as rest of home.

Location is great but it is not what we were expecting for this price. The house is very dated and needs a major clean.
1. No info on appliances or internet
2. No local info
3. Warm water is intermediate and to shower you have to hold the shower handle. The best shower is actually by the beach access
4. Pool is cleaned daily by the pool guy but we were surprised as it was not announced.
5. No paper towels in the kitchen
6. House lock was not working correctly so sometimes left open, still secured by the huge access gate though
7. Toilet kept running for hrs, no way to stop and water was coming up in the toilet sink
8. Most of the beach gear is filthy and we cleaned to be able to use
9. There is no 3rd bathroom as mentioned in the advertisement
10. Bedroom carpets are worn and smell just old
These were just a small list of the many issues. We did not contact the owner as it was Christmas but we would never return nor recommend
Henri communicated well and his directions to the house were very clear.
