I had a wonderful stay at Lalibela Hidmo Cozy Place. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The location was also very convenient for exploring Lalibela and its beautiful surroundings. I really appreciated the hospitality and genuine care given to guests, especially Eshetu. He was there for everything we needed, from taking us to different restaurants for dinner to helping arrange our tour. His kindness and hospitality made me feel like I was staying at a relative’s house rather than a hotel. Desta’s wife also made delicious breakfast for us. The personal attention and warm hospitality were truly exceptional definitely 5-star customer service. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely recommend Lalibela Hidmo Cozy Place to everyone!

Wir hatten einen grandiosen Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer und der Ausblick vom Balkon sind einzigartig und wir haben das tolle und authentisch äthiopische Ambiente sehr genossen. Nachdem wir vom Flughafen abgeholt wurden, erhielten wir im Hotel erstmal eine leckere äthiopische Mahlzeit. Eshetu kümmert sich sehr und hat uns am ersten Tag kurz durch die Stadt geführt und zu einem Aussichtspunkt, sodass wir uns in den nächsten Tage gut zurecht gefunden haben. Das Frühstück war köstlich und sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Eshetu hat uns auch einen Guide für die Felsenkirchen, ein Tuktuk zum Restaurant und eine Tageswanderung organisiert. Besonders die Wanderung mit Misfin zum Kloster Asheton Mariam und zu den Blutbrustaffen war sehr schön und hat unseren Aufenthalt in Lalibela unvergesslich gemacht. Wir haben nette Leute getroffen und uns immer sicher gefühlt. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir wieder ins Hidmo Cozy!

Alles war super

Es un alojamiento llevado por sus propios dueños. Desta y toda su familia fueron extremadamente amables y serviciales. Cuando llegamos nos recibieron con un delicioso almuerzo local de cortesía y todo el tiempo estuvieron disponibles para servirnos en lo que quisiéramos. Además, Desta es un gran guía para el complejo de iglesias, conoce todo de Lalibela al detalle y habla excelente inglés. Vistas increíbles. Ubicación apartada unas cuadras del centro, pero a 15 minutos caminando de las iglesias. Habitacion amplia y muy cómoda, con balcón a las montañas. Excelente ducha de agua caliente. Buen desayuno casero.

Me gustó todo. El desayuno podría ser un poco más completo, pero está bien.

My favourite place I stayed in Ethiopia. View from my room was extraordinary and the hotel was beautiful and peaceful. My hosts were great and made delicious breakfast every morning and gave me lunch on two occasions, inviting me to join in with their feast after a long period of fasting. The WiFi was good and there was a good shower with hot water. The room was spotless and I was offered daily cleaning as well. Really wonderful experience, would highly recommend if you’re in Lalibela.
