We stayed at Paula’s apartment for one night after completing our Camino del Norte and travelling by bus from Ribadeo to Avilés. The location is excellent — the bus station is literally just around the corner, which was incredibly convenient for us.
Paula was there to welcome us personally and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. She showed us around the apartment herself before leaving us to settle in, and we immediately felt very much at home.
What really made our stay special, though, was the amount of information Paula gave us about Avilés. She recommended places to visit, things to do and, most importantly for three hungry Camino walkers, some great places to eat! We followed her recommendations and had lunch at Casa Marisa, where we enjoyed some excellent comida casera, and later visited Mesón Astur, which was Asturias cuisine at its best — accompanied, naturally, by plenty of cider! 🍎🍏
Paula also recommended a local tienda de ultramarinos, which turned out to be another great tip. My two friends took full advantage and came back with bags full of provisions! 😂
The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and ideally located for exploring Avilés. But it was Paula’s warm welcome, generosity and local knowledge that really made the difference.
Thank you so much, Paula. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return if we find ourselves in Avilés again. Highly recommended! ❤️

El piso tiene de todo, está súper bien situado.
Te dejan toallas de sobra, las camas son súper cómodas, la televisión la dejan con varios servicios de streaming a tu disposición, la cocina está totalmente equipada.
Nos dejaron recomendaciones de sitios que visitar y lugares donde comer que fueron una excelente recomendación.

Localización céntrica, facilidad aparcamiento, amabilidad y comunicación con los anfitriones. Casa luminosa, muy alegre y con muchos servicios, cómoda y tranquila.
Fin de semana de mucho calor.
