Itria Modica

The location was sensational, with views over the old town of Modica and the pool was lovely. I knew what the hotel looked like from photographs but the location was even better. Truly awesome.

Beliggenheten med utsikt over byen. Personale var vennlige og serviceinnstilte. God plass til bilden utenfor hotellet.

Frokosten var litt enkel. Kun lyst brød, noe varierende med tilbehør. Manglet muligheten til å koke opp vann på rommet.

This is a lovely hotel with great facilities, incredible views and a great team. I had a room that had a private jacuzzi and view of Modica. A perfect place for me to recharge for two days and get some writing done on a two week tour tour of Sicily. The pool was great, my room was great. The value for what I received was wonderful. And the hotel staff was so helpful.

If you don't have a car, and want to do a lot of exploring by foot, this location is a challenging. You'll have to go down about 40 flights worth of stairs to reach Modica Bassa and getting back up to the top on foot was a harrowing experience. I would go up stairs, only to hit a dead end and have to go back down. I discovered one of the touristy people trains goes right by the hotel, so a 5 euro ticket got me back to my hotel, but taxis are hard to book last minute. SO, if you want to walk around Modica a lot, maybe a hotel in Modica Bassa is better suited for you. This isn't a complaint so much as notice that it's up 40 flights of stairs and can be hard to get to quickly on foot.

Herrliche Lage mit Blick auf Modica, welches auch rasch zu Fuss erreichbar ist. Schöner Pool und grosszügiges Zimmer mit bequemem Bett. Gutes Frühstück.

Wir hatten leider das Zimmer ohne Balkon, sonst alles super.
