Absolutely pawsome. 🐾
We booked Cat Nap Cottage at short notice and it turned out to be exactly what we needed - comfortable, well equipped, in a great location, and hosted by someone genuinely accommodating. For a quick overnight stay, it was the cat’s whiskers.
Now, about the theme…
They are not kitten around with the name Cat Nap Cottage.
There are cat books. Cat ornaments. Cat décor. Cat quirks. Cats judging you from various corners.... And, just when you think they may finally have reached peak feline, actual cats appear to remind you whose cottage this really is.
It is gloriously committed to the bit.
We arrived tired, curled up for the night, slept very well and left feeling completely re-cat-ivated. The place has plenty of personality without ever becoming uncomfortable or gimmicky - it is genuinely a lovely little stay.
So if you need somewhere welcoming, convenient and comfortable, and you are feline adventurous, give Cat Nap Cottage a go.
You may arrive as a guest, but by checkout you will have simply accepted that the cats are management.
Would stay again.

Location perfect for exploring this piece of heaven. Lovely walk to the beach. Hostess very friendly and we hit it off right away. Love the animals. Close to stores for the necesseties and close enough to great restaurants. Really close to the fabulous African Penguin Colony and the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens
Just needed one slightly higher chair for sitting on. Cheryl got me one straight away

Lovely spacious room with parking in a good location close to the beach
There are only sheer nets over the patio door, no curtains, so we were awake as soon as it got light at around 5am which wasn’t great.
The crockery hadn’t been cleaned, there were lipstick marks and coffee marks still on the mugs.
