RKO Villa27 - Unawatuna

Host war sehr freundlich und hat uns extra am Bahnhof abgeholt und immer wieder herumgefahren.

Great hotel, just a few minutes walk from the beach. It's managed by a very friendly guy Lahiru, who is always ready to help with any request. He can take you anywhere you need in his own tuk-tuk at any time and can organize interesting excursions. He’s always available on WhatsApp, which is very convenient. Lahiru has experience working in five-star hotels, and it really shows, his communication and professionalism are top-level. He's incredibly positive and always smiling. He picked me up from the station upon arrival and drove me back to the train with my luggage when I checked out. I felt truly cared for throughout my entire stay. The room is quite spacious and bright, with a large comfortable bed, air conditioning, a fridge, and a kettle. There is a private patio in front of the room with a big table, chairs, and a sofa - basically, you have a second living area outdoors. You can also go up to the roof to take beautiful photos or relax on the sunbeds. In the bathroom, there is always hot water with good pressure. Wi-Fi works well. There is also a TV. The location is excellent, close to FoodCity, fruit stalls, and restaurants for every taste. A few restaurants right on the beach are particularly good for spending time. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs because the main road runs along all the hotels in Habaraduwa, and the ocean can be quite loud at night. Personally, it didn’t bother me, after long walks on the beach, you don’t even notice it. Habaraduwa itself is a very calm and slow-paced place. The ocean here is powerful, more suitable for walking and meditation. If you want to swim, Unawatuna or Dalawella are very close, about 15 minutes by tuk-tuk. Overall, I enjoyed everything. With Lahiru's help, I saw interesting places and got new experiences. I recommend this hotel, it’s a good option!
