Dunagiri Retreat is truly magical. It’s hard to describe just how peaceful and calming it feels until you’re actually there. The location is stunning — deep in nature, quiet, and free from distractions. Waking up to crisp mountain air, birdsong, and breathtaking views every morning felt like a gift.
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — modern yet cozy. Every meal, especially breakfast, was fresh, nourishing, and prepared with care.
Yoga and meditation were exactly what I needed — deeply grounding and healing. The walk to Babaji’s Cave from the retreat was easy and incredibly special, making the entire stay even more meaningful.
What truly sets Dunagiri apart, though, is the people. The owner and staff are warm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making your stay wonderful. It felt more like being welcomed into a home than staying at a hotel.
If you’re comparing options in the Himalayas, stop here. Dunagiri is easily the best choice if you want something peaceful, soulful, and authentic — a true hidden gem.

Just got back from Dunagiri Retreat and wow, what a place! Tucked away in the Himalayas, it's the perfect spot to disconnect and relax. The mountain views are breathtaking, and there's a peaceful energy that's hard to describe. The staff were super friendly, always making sure we were comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious, wholesome, and nourishing. My room was clear and spacious with a view of the Himalayan peaks that made waking up a joy. If you're looking for a serene escape, this is it. Can't wait to go back!
