The waitstaff on restaurant was simply wonderful, and it was close to the sea.
We had an unpleasant situation with the receptionist. We had informed her that we would be arriving at the hotel between 5:00 and 6:00 AM. We arrived at 6:10 AM, but we weren't checked in until 8:00 AM—only after a guy from the restaurant managed to get through to her and she confirmed that our keys were at the front desk. The next day, I asked her why we had waited outside for two hours while paying for that previous day's stay; I could have just sat outside the hotel for those two hours without wasting €150 on the day we hadn't actually used. She replied that check-in starts at 11:00 AM, even though I had previously corresponded with her and she had said we would be checked in at 6:00 AM. She simply said "sorry," and that was the end of the conversation. No one offered us a complimentary dinner or anything else by way of apology.
