The room is very close to the airport, which was great for me. It was also extremely clean and comfortable. I loved having a private bathroom. Rafael was super nice and carried my big, heavy suitcase up the stairs to the room. He even waited outside with me for my taxi to come the next morning. Personally I found the "vecindad" aspect, the taqueria in the patio, and the rooster on the roof quite charming (though the rooster was noisy). This is a great place to stay for someone who wants a quintessential Mexico City experience, hosted by very kind people, and close to the airport. I will definitely try to stay there again!

The hosts were friendly. Its close to the airport.
The neighborhood was calm and safe. At night there were numerous humble places to grab a bite.
My complaint is the overwhelming smell of insecticide. Very strong, very unpleasant. If not for that I would rate this stay much higher.
