Very convenient location - about an 11 minute walk from ferry gate E9 and only around 2 minutes from the Municipal Theatre and the city center. Cafés, shops and everything you need are within easy walking distance.
The hotel looks modern and recently renovated, and there is a decent elevator.
The single room is small but very functional, with enough space to open a suitcase, a storage cabinet, a comfortable double bed, plenty of power outlets and USB ports, good lighting, strong air conditioning and a large TV.
The towels and bed linen were very good quality and comfortable.
The staff were extremely kind, helpful and service-oriented, and happy to assist with any request.
Breakfast can be ordered from a surprisingly good menu at reasonable prices. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food.
The best things are the location, staff and breakfast.
The main issue was cleanliness. I found short hairs in the shower, and there was also a visible dirty mark in the toilet that had clearly not been cleaned properly. I only noticed this late at night after I had already settled in, so I did not want to deal with changing rooms.
The shower pressure was too weak and the water temperature was not stable.
There was also some mechanical noise in the room, although I sleep with white noise so it did not bother me personally.
There was also a flashing light above the bed, which was very distracting and unpleasant, especially when trying to sleep.
The hotel does not really have a ground-floor lobby; reception is on the first floor. Also, the entrance door uses a key card but does not close automatically, and it was often left open, which made the entrance feel less secure.
I paid €80 (breakfast not Included) on a special rate, which felt reasonable for one night if the room had been properly cleaned. At a higher price, I would personally find it too expensive for what is offered.
