The space and privacy. It was very comfortable with lots of personal touches from the host.
There was a stale smell coming from the drain pipes in the shower.

Apartment looks brand new and is nicely decorated. It has everything you might need (including a dishwasher and a wasing machine), kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is ver spaceous. Outside, there is more than enough room for parking a car.
Self checkin and checkout was simple. The owner even left us some homemade scones as a welcome gift!
The location is perfect for going around the Ring of Kerry. Kenmare town is about 5min away, where there are multiple supermarkets, restaurants, etc.
We stayed in the upstairs apartment, which has a nice view out the living room window.
