We booked the villa through Booking.com and didn’t receive any check-in instructions in advance. They didn’t arrive in my email until one day AFTER our arrival date! A few days before arrival, we tried to contact the host by email and phone, as well as through the Booking.com customer service line. When we arrived at the villa at the scheduled time, no one was there, so I called the Novasol customer service line, but I was only connected to a voice bot.
Fortunately, it occurred to me to try to register to the Novasol website, adding the booking number to my profile, and only then did I find the phone number for a local representative. I called him, and he gave me the code for the key box.
Without this step, we wouldn’t have been able to get into the villa that day. A terrible experience... All it would take is just to send the code a day in advance..
To be fair, the villa itself was amazing, and we really enjoyed the rest of our stay.
