food at this inn is top notch
just two rooms so not overcrowded
cancellation terms very generous
it's an old building, so tall people will need to duck in places
no specific parking attached to this inn, but places to park next door or across the street

Breakfast was enjoyable.
The owner was miserable all the time. The rest of the staff seemed alright. I had booked an extra night direct with the property but he didn’t believe me and said he needed proof but I had deleted the relevant emails. He was rude and unhelpful and said our room was reserved for two couples who wanted to be on the same floor. Fair enough, until we realised that the only other room on our floor was the laundry store which contained no beds or furniture. He offered another room but that was a double bed plus it had been reserved anyway. He has a sign on the wall reading ‘ JUST SMILE ‘ , a pity he doesn’t take his own advice !
