This was NOT the fault of the front desk reception…. To start- the outside is not updated which is fine. There was spiders crawling on the wall of the front reception which was odd. We got our room (the front desk lady was very nice!!)- as soon as we walked in it was updated decently but REAKED of cigarette smoke. Smelt like someone smoked a pack in there everyday since the day it was built. No way was I staying there- I went to front desk lady who was very apologetic- came to the room and confirmed it did smell of smoke. She went back to the desk to see what she can do- out of her control there was no rooms available to swap us to other than a double bed room. She even stated that we wouldn’t be comfortable in it, it was small and we booked a king bed. Other option- have them re-clean the room to which we both agreed re cleaning wouldn’t help the smell as it would be in the curtains, carpet, etc. I reiderate that the front desk lady was VERY kind, understanding and patient. She apologized profusely, obviously she did all that was in her power to due. We ended up staying else wear and attempting to cancel this reservation for money back. Stay elsewear- for a few more bucks you can be much more comfy and not gamble if your room smells of smoke.

The place was fine for a quick night stay close to a meeting place early the next morning. It was very clean and spacious, but obviously an older place that was updated. It was great to have a McDonalds right across the street on the same side as the hotel. The front desk lady was informative and gave good info about parking and places nearby to eat. Overall, a good stay.

Value deal for Santa Monica/Venice. Quiet, large rooms for what you pay. It’s great one night stay …have to drive to any attractions but close enough to be anywhere in LA without being in LA.

We stayed 3 nights for a family trip. The hotel is very conveniently located. There are lots of food nearby (and a Costco!), a short drive to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier. The hotel looks a bit old but inside it's very clean and looks recently renovated. Room was a bit small, internet was a bit slow, but considering the price, I'd still recommend it.

We struggled to find it, the images on hotels.com showed a lovely modern place - these are future pictures. We drove in and were helped by the reception staff, they were quite helpful, parking charge of $15. This is insecure parking as the pedestrian access is not locked We went to the room, it stank, like heavy bleach, then someone in another flushed their toilet, which sounded like it was in our room. I opened the curtains, big mistake, there was a homeless tent outside the window. The room was modern and well made up. We didn’t stay the night, we left after ten minutes, the reception staff did not ask why, which was a further concerning sign. Not correctly advertised and I question the reviews legitimacy.

The inside is clean and new, so it was a good stay. We enjoyed the space and small kitchen area, although nothing is provided in the kitchen in terms of utensils, etc. As is known, the outside remains in disrepair. The covered and locked parking only accommodates 6’6”, so we had to park in the lot and there are only a few spots. We liked being close to Venice Beach.

The hotel was shocking, dark with an unpleasant smell. A scary possibility, no elevator and it was not possible to pick up the luggage. There were homeless people hanging around there. There was no guard at night, there was no service from 12 o'clock at night. old blankets. We entered the room and immediately wanted to cancel because the hotel is not as in the pictures. We ran away from the place and they did not return our money. Just cheating. Don't go there!

Someone has tried hard to rejuvenate this property. The room I was in had new furniture, flooring and bathroom fixtures. And the air conditioner and garage gate all worked fine. The front desk clerk was very professional and patient. But... the towels were still so thin they didn't absorb much water; one of the door knobs for garage access was broken in a way that just needed a new door knob but instead someone had put up a sign; and the windows and door let in a lot of outside noise. Good location and good experience for what I paid, but can't give 5 stars.

The room was newly renovated. Bed was comfortable. Problem was the towels were always dirty and full of hairs. Definitely bring your own towels!!! But overall is a good place to stay. I would suggest to everyone to rent a car!!! Definitely need it and gonna make you save money on Uber/lyft.

went to check in at the Lincoln Inn after booking a “family suite” weeks ago on Expedia. we came in from Vegas myself, my son, his dad, his best friend, and our 3 month old baby. we walk in the room and it’s just a typical bed… go back to the office where we are told another family is “coming in later” for the family suite so they cannot accommodate and wasn’t sure if I would get a refund—needed to leave a note for her boss? how 5 people were expected to sleep in 1 queen bed is beyond me. we were stranded at 10:30pm and luckily found an amazing hotel 4 minutes from Santa Monica beach last minute! this property is in a very sketchy place and there were homeless people actually doing a work out on the stairs outside the hotel office. extremely stressful situation, unsafe, inconvenient, you name it!! 0/10!!!!

1-From first night we had a key issue ,didnt open our door, worse part was in morning 2nd day ,i left to get the coffee from outside, and my key didnt open the door, and reception was closed till 8:30 am, so i had to stay 20 min outside, until they show up. 2-they don't have even one coffee maker or kettle to make hot water. 3-No tissue papers, which is very basic in even motel. 4-no body wash, very skinny soap size of business card as thin as business card to use for body or hand. 5-No business center to print something. I had extra night reservation ,i cancelled, will not return to this facility.

We stayed here after flying into LAX for one night. We arrived 3 hrs before our check in time but the staff were so helpful and said we could go to our room. Location is great, Walking distance to Venice beach. Super helpful staff. Perfect stay after a long flight. Suzanne

Clean, newly renovated rooms, comfortable beds, no coffee maker or electric boiler, but microwave oven and fridge. Wifi didn’t work in the room. 30 min walk to the beach, 10 min by car. Free parking. Hard wood floor. Really nice and helpful staff!

Alyssa was very helpful. The property isn’t sound proof. No ice as I believe. Nice staff and parking is great. And the bed is just amazing. Like you’ll sleep in if your not careful. 10/10 beds. Great bang for buck.

Rooms were recently remodeled and the interior looked great. However, the door did not keep out noise very well. The exterior still looks very run down, and I was surprised to see that it did not match the rendition shown on the posted photos. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. We were in town to see a concert at The Venice West, so the hotel served as a convenient location nearby. I would consider staying here again once the rest of the exterior is remodeled.

I liked how everything appeared to be remodeled. Right when I walked in I could smell the fresh paint. What I did not like about this property is that it was dirty. The majority of the towels were stained. The bathroom toilet was disgusting and had feces. We arrived about 6:00pm to the hotel and asked if we could extend our leave one hour after, they declined. Overall it was ok for the price and if you’re planning to stay one night ONLY.

My experience with this hotel was very negative. The hotel is in a very sketchy neighborhood. There are a lot of funny-looking people around the area. There even were homeless people inside the facility which made me feel very insecure. One day I arrived at my room at 1 am to find out that my Friends room key and mine suddenly stopped working, there was no one at the front desk to help me out and they had no emergency contact numbers, so I had to look for somewhere to stay for the night, I ended up spending 300 dollars by doing this. Obviously, I asked for a refund, but the management refused to give me back the money for that night, I didn't even receive an apology. Needless to say staying at this hotel was a great mistake, so I highly recommend you to stay away from this nightmare hotel.

The room was a very pleasant surprise. The condition of the room looked to be newly renovated and very nice inside. The look of the outside was average but the room was great. Highly recommend this hotel as the value for the dollar was there.

Tammy the general manager and - oh, forgive me, I believe the front desk attendant’s name was Alecia, I only met her once - but Tammy I met a couple times and they were awesome checking me in and out. Maria the cleaning lady was great too, super sweet! I spent New Years here and for being right along Lincoln Boulevard, it was relatively quiet. Of course there’s plenty of action going on, but that’s LA in general. And it’s actually a walkable distance to Venice Beach if you wanna start out your day that way. Plenty within the neighborhood. Great choice. I would stay here again!

The front desk agent, Aliaa, give a good service service. The hotel refurnish its inside, so the property and facilities is good condition. And it has microwave which is very convenient. The bad parts are that, it doesn’t has hair dryer, and the cleanness of bath towels is not good. You can see some stains in those towels.

Listen, this place was surprisingly fantastic. Please do not use the OUTSIDE of the hotel to judge the interior. It was brought to my attention that the rooms were recently renovated and after checking in and entering the property I was pleasantly surprised. The interior of this hotel rivals THE COMFORT INN at about have the cost. EVERYTHING was new and thoughtfully decorated: There are only 30 rooms and the rooms sit back from the street, so you avoid all of the foot and car traffic noise. Here's what we found: 1. Excellent and professional staff. 2. Check-in was efficiently done. 3. Room was immaculate. 4. Room was well decorated--both in color and materials. 5. The amenities were perfect at this price point. We had a fridge, microwave and desk for business and plenty of outlets to plug in our devices. 6. A bed with a TRUE HEADREST--and not an old painting sitting above you, I could sit up in bed and read without knocking off a painting. Thank you, so much! 7. The building was very quiet and safe. 8. A shower that gets JUST HOT ENOUGH but not too hot. 9. Carpeted hallways to cut down on the noise of foot traffic within the building. We were truly shocked and impressed with this property. If you will be staying in the Venice, Santa Monica or Marina Del Rey and area, AND WOULD LIKE TO DO IT ON A BUDGET but not feel like you compromised anything, I highly recommend this place. They definite deserve the support of good clientele. Very well done, guys!

Excellent stay, my room was very clean and had a separate area with a couch and an additional tv! Also was very quiet (with the exception of the entry door which was loud) but all in all I had a great stay here, and the staff was very friendly too - will definitely stay again!
