We were late and when we finally reached the property, Mario and Deborah came to meet us and were very kind and showed us around. They are lovely people. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed May 31st - June 3rd 2025 - absolutely stunned by the value here.
Just returned from 3 nights at this apartment and already planning our next visit. For €90/night, this is hands-down the best deal in Tuscany.
Location is genius: 40 minutes to the coast when you need a beach day, 20-30 minutes to all the Val d'Orcia postcard villages (Pienza, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni). Perfect base for exploring both worlds.
That view from the window - wake up every morning to rolling Tuscan hills that look exactly like Renaissance paintings. Attached photo doesn't do it justice.
Climate surprise: While Florence was sweltering at 35°C, Montenero d'Orcia stayed breezy and comfortable in June. Natural air conditioning from the elevation and wind.
Host is exceptional: Provided detailed itinerary recommendations, best restaurants to try, and gave us flexible 12pm checkout without even asking. Made us feel like welcomed guests, not just renters.
The village itself has this authentic, unhurried Italian vibe — no tourist buses, just locals going about their day. Feels like stepping back in time to real Tuscany.
At this price point, it beats any hotel in the area by miles.
