Kalyva turned out to be much bigger and even better in reality than in the photos. It combines a cozy, family-home feel with completely modern amenities. The highlight was the powerful air conditioning, which easily kept the house cool during hot (~35°C) days. Inside, the villa was spotlessly clean, with two comfortable bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with all essentials, coffee, and plenty of dishwasher tablets. The huge outdoor area provided ample shaded seating, so we could comfortably relax outside all day. We especially loved the pool area, which was clean, illuminated, had warm water, and was equipped with comfortable sunbeds and an outdoor shower. There is also direct access to the beach nearby. Location-wise, Benitses is just a kilometer away, offering plenty of great restaurants and shops. Finally, the host was fantastic—always helpful, quick to resolve minor requests, and giving great local tips. It offers incredible value for money, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
The main drawback is that the 1 km road leading to Benitses has no sidewalks, and cars drive quite fast around narrow curves, making walking into town a bit uncomfortable. Buses stop right near the property, but they only run about once an hour. Also, tap water isn't drinkable, so you need to buy bottled water. The private beach is pebbly with seaweeds, though having the pool made that a non-issue for us.

Bardzo udany pobyt i miejsce, które zdecydowanie możemy polecić. Domek jest świetnie urządzony, bardzo czysty, zadbany i doskonale wyposażony. Na start zaraz po przyjeździe czekały na nas również bardzo miłe dodatki – wino, owoce, kawa, itd.
Układ domu jest bardzo funkcjonalny i komfortowy – świetnie sprawdził się dla naszej grupy 4 dorosłych i 4 dzieci w wieku 2, 6, 9 i 14 lat. Dużym plusem są też dwie osobne łazienki, każda duża i wygodna.
Basen jest kompaktowy, ale bardzo przyjemny – idealny przy pobycie z dziećmi i na wieczorne kąpiele. Do tego wygodny taras z leżakami, a półka w basenie z widokiem na morze to rewelacyjne rozwiązanie. Świetnie sprawdzają się też tarasy przed domkiem, a z tyłu znajduje się duży stary ogród, który dodatkowo daje super klimat.
Dom położony jest poza miasteczkiem, więc jest spokojnie, choć niedaleko od ruchliwej momentami drogi. Jednocześnie do miasteczka jest na tyle blisko, że bez problemu można z niego korzystać. Najbliższa, całkiem dobra tawerna znajduje się ok. 700 m od domu.
Dodatkowym atutem jest własne zejście do morza. Plaża jest niewielka, częściowo kamienista i z trzcinami, więc nie jest to typowa plaża do całodziennego leżenia. Za to jest świetna do pływania i nurkowania z maską – i można mieć morze praktycznie tylko dla siebie.
Całość jest bardzo dobrze przemyślana i utrzymana na wysokim poziomie. Świetne miejsce na spokojny wypoczynek dla rodziny lub grupy znajomych. Polecamy wszystkim
