The picturesque medieval hilltop towns, authentic villages where time has stood still and landscapes of unique beauty are ideal for scenic drives, cycling and hiking. Excellent traditional cuisine, extra virgin olive oil and first-class Muscat, Malvasia and Teran grapes, for which this region is world-famous, add the final ingredients to an unforgettable vacation. And if you're in the mood for something different, the crystal clear Adriatic Sea with its beautiful beaches and popular tourist hotspots are just a short drive away.
