Good modern detached house in a very quiet cul de sac on an equally quiet estate on the edge of Alnwick centre so excellent access to and from the A1 and very east to get to Amble, Craster, Seahouses, Banburgh, Low Newton etc for coast, castles and kippers - many very good pubs/restaurants all within easy driving distance particularly at night. House was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated/presented and a very generous M&S Foods welcome pack and a Nespresso with a good supply of coffee pods was an unexpected bonus. No children with us, but the house has 3 toilets and 5 TV's! so families are well catered for. Kitchen extremely well equipped, although we did no cooking, beds and furniture all comfortable - will certainly book again.
Only one (minor) thing - there were half a dozen 'aroma stick' bottles distributed about the accommodation, which is a common feature in holiday accommodation and while a sensible provision for the most part, my wife is (over) sensitive to these perfume dispensers, so they were gathered up and placed in the garage/playroom during our stay. By no means a 'complaint', but for us at least, would have preferred them not to have been there - or at least, fewer of them.
