We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Ashford Arms which was excellent.
Lovely staff. Also super dinner at our favourite pub and restaurant The Devonshire Arms at Beeley.
A supply of pods for the coffee machine, and a small tablet of soap in the bathroom would have been handy! The fridge was small and the shelf on the door had broken off so space was limited for storage. The cottage was situated on a very busy through road.

Well designed cottage, perfect for 2/3 adults. Well equipped despite its small size, comfortable bed, perfect bathroom with decent shower.
Ideal location with 2 good pubs in the village, both dog friendly. Great to be able to walk easily to both.
The kerb appeal was definitely lacking. The only outside area is in the front. There is a small table with 2 chairs but the area was so full of weeds and thistles it was not a welcoming area to sit. Shame as the interior of the cottage was great.
There was a good supply of tea/coffee but minor detail, some salt & pepper would be useful as that is not something I usually pack.
