Staff was always available and catered to our requests. Room was clean and well maintained. The location was about a km from the temple, around 20 mins walk. We had a great experience overall.

Location is convenient.
Good for kids, youngsters, and middle-aged people.
Even some peaceful russians with their rented Royal Enfields were found here (enroute Goa to Pune?).
Not recommended if there is (are) infant(s)/toddler(s)/senior citizen(s) with you.
No lift. No tea or breakfast facility. Steep climb via stairs.
The hotel is good for you if you and your group can (1) move around quickly, (2) have minimal requirements/expectations, (3) arrive at the hotel and fall asleep, (4) get up in the morning, finish business and leave the hotel as early as possible.
You come to Kolhapur for Mahalaxmi darshan, so leave the hotel early and go for darshan.
