We had a fantastic two-week stay at this villa and would absolutely recommend it. The location is great – peaceful, private and at the very end of a no-through road. You pass other properties as you drive down, but right at the very end there are just three villas, including this one, with private driveway and ample parking. The views over the sea, forest and olive groves are beautiful.
Cleanliness was exceptional. The villa itself is large, light and spacious, with plenty of storage and excellent air conditioning. Layout is a little unusual: you enter into the large open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, with steps leading down to the bedrooms. The listing says 3 bedrooms, but there are actually 4. The two double bedrooms with doors opening directly onto the pool area are the stars of the show and the lovely pool is unusually large for a villa (about 10m long). The 2 other bedrooms are at the back of the villa and don’t get as much natural light, but they’re perfectly comfortable and both have large single beds. There’s an en-suite bedroom and separate master bathroom downstairs, and an upstairs shower room/toilet, so 3 bathrooms in total.
The villa is very close to the beautiful Kanali and Trapezaki beaches. Kanali is closer if you don’t have a car, but it’s a steep walk down and back up! A short drive away is a bakery, supermarkets and some lovely cafes and tavernas, which makes eating out easy. Souvlaki House also does takeaway gyros.
It doesn't have ultra-modern bathrooms and all the latest mod cons, but everything worked perfectly and having a washing machine was a bonus. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay – a broken parasol and poolside shower – but both were replaced which is great. WiFi is patchy - worked better outside and upstairs - and terrace table & chairs need replacing! The villa would also benefit from some seating on the lounge terrace and a table & chairs/BBQ area poolside.
A few upgrades would make an already lovely villa even better. The Wi-Fi could definitely be improved, as the connection wasn’t always reliable. The terrace from the lounge would really benefit from an outdoor table and chairs, so you can sit and appreciate the view. Some of the existing chairs were quite rickety and one actually broke during our stay, so this is definitely something that needs replacing.
The pool area would also be transformed by having a proper outdoor table and chairs, along with a dedicated BBQ area. At the moment, there’s nowhere to sit and enjoy food or drinks by the pool other than on the sun loungers. The BBQ itself could also do with a major upgrade.
An outside fridge would be another useful addition, particularly for keeping drinks cold. As the kitchen is upstairs and you have to go back through the bedrooms to get to it, having a fridge by the pool would make life much easier and allow guests to properly enjoy the outdoor space without constantly having to go back inside.
The bushes down the side steps to the pool were very overgrown, so a bit of maintenance wouldn't go amiss!
These are all relatively straightforward and inexpensive improvements, and adding them would make the most of the villa’s fantastic outdoor areas and spectacular views.

The pool was very good except the water level was too low for the filtration to work so there was always dead flies and leaves in the pool .
It would have been good if there had been a pool net available.Then I could have cleaned it myself.also the paving around the pool has very sharp edges which could be very dangerous.

The villa is beautiful - better than the pictures and description. It actually has 4 bedrooms (2 with double beds and 2 single rooms with single beds in) not 3 as described. There is a well equipped kitchen, a nice cool lounge area, aircon, towels and bed linen, it has lovely views, the pool is lovely - a good size with a deep end for jumping in and diving and 6 sun loungers all in good condition. It is in a very peaceful area overlooking the sea in the distance. The cleaning lady came 3 times during our week. There was water and a bottle of wine on arrival for us in the fridge!
There are 3-4 good restaurants and a lovely breakfast/creperie pancake bar in the nearby village (3 mins in car 15 min walk).
It is very out of the way, down a little narrow road that was very steep, stony and rocky and not easy to walk along. You could not stay there without a car I think. It was a 15ish minute walk up the steep hill to the nearest bar and restaurants.
There were a couple of small maintenance issues we found on arrival - the water pressure was so low and then ran out, and one of the sun blinds in the room did not work, plus the aircon unit remote controls were not all there, so just usual wear and tear I assume of any property but to be fair the hosts sorted this as soon as we messaged so they are very attentive.
One of the pool umbrellas had no cord in to open it, but this was not a big deal for us. Just giving a full account. However everything was great and the small issues did not impact our holiday at all as were sorted within 1 day.
We did find the beds way too hard for us though - even the teenagers noted this so it was not just us being moany people! But if you like a very hard bed maybe it would be fine.

The village was lovely and spacious. The pool was absolutely stunning with great views.
The bedrooms were on the pool level. Both external doors were broken so that we couldn’t open them. This meant that we had to walk up a lot of stairs every time we wanted anything inside the Villa. Despite reporting this nothing was done. Both pool umbrellas were broken, they had obviously not been checked prior to our arrival. The WiFi was an unsecured line which rarely worked despite being advertised as a facility at the Villa.
