A very hot day, arriving on bike after 70 km, everyone can see that we need to shower. We arrive early (try to bike before the Sun get to warm) The staff at check in inform us, that it will take 4 hours to make the room ready, and since we do not have a room we are not allowed to use the pool. We have travelled around the world in 40 years, and not even in the least developed and poor part of the world m, we have experienced such an arrogant attitude. After we have asked several times during the following 3 hours, we are told that if we sign a disclaimer we can use the pool. Beside this they also informed us, that the restaurant was closed. This was not informed during booking. What can we say.? Beside this room and breakfast was excellent. Qualifications are important but attitude is everything, and here attitude was terrible. All the best to management- there is room for improvement!

Excellent service, lovely ambiance, particularly comfortable bed. The restaurant was really good and accommodated dietary requirements when asked. The garden and swimming pool were a delight.

We had another wonderful stay in this Auberge on a lovely coast with lots of walks and places to swim and eat. The gardens of the Auberge are a treat. The food here is excellent, and the dining area has sparkle and character. We were sorry to have to leave. Try the local Assiette du Pecheur for size!
