Rurality- quiet, peaceful, roomy, and just gorgeous. The children were happy having WiFi, and we were lucky with the weather.
Nothing, it's a long way up the hill, but the journey is worth it. Loved staying here, thank you.

Beautiful location, stunning views and sheep and lambs roaming free! The cottage was lovely, lots of space and big dining area. Perfect for the kids to play outside knowing they were safe. Comfy beds & games and books provided.
The shower was coming apart in places and didn't drain properly. It could have been cleaner. There were some ants in the kitchen and the towels smelt a little damp. The soap container was empty in the downstairs toilet. There wasn't much provided in the way of basics such as salt, sugar etc. The coffee was all stuck together in the pot, bin bags hadn't been put in the bin etc. Booking would be better via the cottage and not booking.com as they were very strict about changes. Road to property was very long and pot holes. Was a lovely stay but a few basic updates would make it a lot easier especially as the house is so remote.
