1 Excellent city center location, yet quiet at night. Supermarket downstairs

1. Heavy smoke smell: Listed as "non-smoking," but smelled heavily of cigarettes. I know it's maybe not the host's fault, but it was totally uncomfortable for me. And it should not be the guest's work to air it out 5+hours. And my belongings still get smelly after sleeping for one night.
2. No info before arrival and no reply via Booking: I messaged via Booking at 10:00 and 15:00 on the arrival day with no reply and had to use WhatsApp. The host is friendly, but Self check-in Instructions were sent bit by bit, and poor signal inside the building made it even worse. It took me at last 30 mins to get in. Please state if you don't use Booking chat and It would be much better if the self check-in instructions could be sent earlier.
The above two points are things that are totally unexpected among all the rooms I had on booking. Additionally, although the bathroom is tiny and no towels or body wash (only empty bottles), the matress is hard, this was showed on the description or in other comments, so I was prepared.
