The location was beautiful and very handy for visiting hay-on-wye. The shower was good once we got the temperature right. There was a good selection of pots, pans and crockery to use in the kitchen, as well as an oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. It was handy to be able to park right next to the building. We didn't use the garden because of the weather but it looked lovely. The hosts left us a pint of milk and some snacks on arrival which a nice touch and very appreciated.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and very close to the wall on both sides. The sofa was also uncomfortable. The TV was very small and also started flashing in the middle of the night, waking us up. The floor was very dusty in places and there were a lot of cobwebs, not just high up in the ceiling but on the wall lights and fixtures. The bathroom was also quite grimy and the toilet needed a deep clean. The pole used to open and close the velux window blinds was damaged and difficult to wield. The whole place could do with a refresh.

Cosy, spotless, modern interior.
Just one minor thing, the TV is tiny and our old eyes found it hard to read the sub-titles.
