The fireworks festival in honor of the Virgin Mary takes place in Recco on 8 September. You can also stroll through the town of Camogli, where you can buy delicacies at the market every Wednesday. Like many other towns in Liguria, Camogli also enchants visitors with its narrow streets and pastel-colored houses. You can also head to Moneglia, which was included in the list of Italy's most beautiful villages in 2012. In the historic coastal village of Rapallo, you can immerse yourself in ancient history. Portofino, the exclusive vacation resort for the richest people in Europe, is also worth a visit. This fishing village is known for its beautiful harbor, clean water, pastel-colored houses and fabulous fish restaurants.
