We loved the free hire of bikes which we used for the day, the location to the train station, and the shopping mall located next to the station as this is where we bought our food to eat dinner and breakfast.
The "executive"lounge is actually accessible by all, with split times 3-6pm then 9-11pm.
The room we stayed is was very spacious with a great view of the lake.
This hotel caters mostly to tour buses, we counted 5 parked out front on the day we checked in. The dinner is expensive at 60 AUD pp and the breakfast is costly too.
The lady at the onsen was not very nice...
We didn't use the onsen as it wasn't open for all day use instead split times 6-10am then 3-11pm, and these seemed to cater for tour groups , as soon as they checked in they would all rush there. What about those of us staying more than 1 night and wanting to use between 10 am and 3pm considering that those checking out would leave by 11am?? You have to use your room key to access the onsen so why not allow us after 10am when the hotel seem to be quite??
Coffee and tea experience was not given outside of lounge time and the tea in the room was green tea which may not be to everyones taste.
