Sehr sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns den Transport von Tbilisi in die Berge und auch hier in der Gegend organisiert hat (super Fahrer) sie hat sich immer um unser Wohl gekümmert, uns mit Trauben und Khachapuri verwöhnt, und war so herzlich mit uns!

مكان خاص فيه كوخين واحد كبير ساكنه فيه صاحبة الكوخ وثاني صغير تأجره و صاحبة المكان محترمه جداً وخلف الكوخ فيه شلال قريب

We had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful wooden cabin hosted by the most amazing family in the quiet village of Arsha (Kazbegi area). The experience was beyond expectations — peaceful, authentic, and full of heart.
The cabin is well-designed and cozy, with two levels:
🛏️ Upstairs – a sleeping area with warm blankets and wooden charm
🏡 Downstairs – a fully equipped kitchen, clean toilet and shower, and a living room that also doubles as an extra sleeping space
🚗 Parking was available just a few meters away, which made things easy.
We especially loved the incredible mountain silence – you can truly disconnect, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy nature all around you. The cabin is located just a 15-minute walk from the Arsha Waterfall, which is a great short hike and perfect for families.
But the real highlight? The hosts. A kind and generous family who welcomed us like old friends, made us feel completely at home, and showed what true Georgian hospitality is all about. 🧡
Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to experience the authentic side of the Kazbegi region — far from the crowds but close to nature and beauty.
We’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area.
Just a small tip from our experience:
We really enjoyed our stay and the cabin was wonderful, but I’d recommend adding window screens to all the windows. There was only one in the kitchen, which was enough for us this time, but having screens in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom windows would make the place even more comfortable especially during warm evenings when you want to enjoy the fresh air without worrying about insects.
It’s a small upgrade that can make a big difference. 😊
