Unforgettable Stay in Kamares – The Perfect Sifnian house. We had an incredible stay at this beautifully renovated traditional Sifnos house in Kamares. The property blends authentic Sifnian charm with modern comfort. The views from the house are breathtaking—waking up to the picturesque backdrop of the bay every morning was an absolute highlight. The location couldn't be better. It is just a short walk down the steps to reach the village, where you have easy access to parking, a well-stocked supermarket, and the shore. Beautiful Kamares Beach is right at your doorstep, offering crystal-clear waters and a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. Kamares itself is full of life and character. The town is packed with terrific beachfront restaurants serving delicious local dishes, pottery shops highlighting the island's famous ceramic art, and warm, welcoming locals who make you feel right at home. It is also an ideal base for exploring the rest of Sifnos. Taking day trips to the breathtaking historic village of Kastro, the vibrant capital of Apollonia, and the serene fishing village of Cherronisos in the north are absolute musts during your visit. We couldn't have asked for a better home base on Sifnos. Highly recommended!
