About this house rental

Set in Jefferson County, WV, this historic home built in 1850 has been transformed into a modern, bright and serene home away from home. Set in a central location close to Winchester & Berryville, VA, & the historic West Virginia towns of Charles Town, Harpers Ferry and Shepherdstown. Whether you are here for the Summit Point races or the Charles Town Casino, or in town for a tour of our historic towns, your stay at the 1850's House is sure to be comfortable. Our guests may stay to visit family, spend their days hiking on our local trails or tubing on the C&O and Potomac rivers. Jefferson County has so much to offer. Let us know if you have anything special that would make your stay better. We strive to create an amazing stay and earn your 5 star review! See you soon!

The house was more than perfect for our race weekend. It was conveniently close to the race track. Nice local restaurants were within a reasonable drive for late night dinners after a full day on the racetrack! Kitchen was well equipped with everything if we wanted to cook. The house was extremely clean!!
