About this apartment rental
Beautiful 2-room non-smoking apartment—well-maintained and modernly furnished. Kitchen-living room with dining area and satellite TV (flat-screen 73x43), bedroom with a double bed and a loft bed, bathroom with shower and window, Wi-Fi, 2 dogs, approx. 500 m from the beach.
This cozy 2-room, non-smoking vacation apartment, “Klabautermann,” is located on the 1st floor of a single-family home on the edge of a field and is accessible via a staircase. It features a kitchen-living room of approx. 19 square meters—well-equipped with plenty of dishes, a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric kettle, and toaster, as well as two cozy beanbag chairs. You can make your coffee using either a coffee machine or a Bodum coffee maker and enjoy it here at the large dining area.
In the bedroom, you’ll find a large double bed as well as a loft bed for two people. Of course, there’s also a bathroom with an extra-large shower and its own small hallway. There’s plenty of closet space and storage areas for your luggage.
The Klabautermann’s amenities are rounded out by an ironing station, a collection of games, various books, as well as standard cleaning equipment and supplies—all equally accessible to all guests in the central storage area in the hallway.
Friendly (house-trained) dogs are welcome “guests,” and you may bring a maximum of 2 dogs to this apartment (no other pets). They must be registered and may not be left alone in the accommodation. One-time final cleaning fee of €30.00 per dog. Two dog-friendly beaches—one on the cliffs and one next to the surfing beach—are within easy walking distance (approximately 1.8 and 3.5 km from your apartment). Heidkate Beach even has a water sports school, restrooms, and a snack bar.
You can park your bicycles next to the barbecue area. The apartment is equipped with our own mattress protectors, pillows, and blankets; please bring your own beach towels and blankets.
It’s about 500 meters to the supermarket with a café, skate park, and children’s adventure area, and about 800 meters to the bike and boat rental; the bus stop is just 200 meters away.
It doesn’t get any fresher than this: You can get fish caught that very day, straight from the boat, at the marina about 600 from your apartment—you can also get hot meals there.
A mobile sauna with a view of the Baltic Sea, a large children’s adventure park, a skate park, tennis courts, and much more are all right in town. Take advantage of beauty and wellness treatments, which you can book at the spa hotel within walking distance (indoor and outdoor pools available).
On the beach, there’s a water sports school that rents out equipment such as SUPs and surfboards. Small playgrounds along the newly redesigned promenade, an ice cream parlor, and Steffen Henssler’s Ahoi restaurant—perched on a hill with a unique view of the marina—await you. Another attraction in Wendtorf is the indoor arcade at the start of the promenade. A golf course and fitness club are just a few minutes’ drive away.
