Everything!
This is a good choice if you want to get away from some of the hustle and bustle! Nice kitchen area on the 1st floor if you want to cook, meet other guests, etc. Steps from a walking trail that goes around the reservoir, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of Khao Tao. Minutes from the ocean and a temple that has an outdoor market twice a week. Close to Sai Noi Beach, Pran Buri Forest Park and cabs are easy to pick up to any of the surrounding areas. The hosts are very accommodating, they worked with me when I was “stressed” upon arrival, and made my stay quite enjoyable! I highly recommend this spot, and at some point, I’m sure I’ll return! 👏🙏🏼

The hotel is located in front of a beautiful reservoir and an amazing temple right next to a fishing a village
There’s a new construction right next to the hotel, which makes the area quite noisy during the day. But it’s very peaceful in the evening.

The location is exactly what I like - easy stroll to an uncrowded beach used by a few locals, nice path around the lake right out in front of your door, and a really interesting sprawling seaside temple with some great spots to do morning yoga overlooking the rocky shore. The room itself is good and clean, but I'm giving a 10 for the location. Especially after spending one afternoon in crowded and over-developed Hua Hin nearby, what a relief to return to Khao Tao! Nice shared kitchen too.
I'm on fourth floor and stairs are steep, but not really an issue, you get used to it.
