De locatie van de B&B is perfect en ligt op korte loopafstand van het Centro Storico (historisch centrum) van Albenga, met leuke straatjes en pleintjes.
De voorzieningen waren perfect, en het ontbijt voldoende en erg lekker
Parkeren achter het hek op eigen terrein van de villa, wij konden daar ook de elektrische fietsen opladen
De eigenaar/gastvrouw was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en gaf diverse leuke tips.

Elsket alt! Rommet var kjempefint, alle fasiliteter på plass. Huset og hagen nydelig, utleier var utrolig hyggelig og imøtekommende. Beliggenheten var perfekt, med kort gåavstand til den utrolig koselige gamlebyen.

Excellent séjour. Très belle chambre climatisée. Super petits déjeuners. La location est à 5mn à pied du centre historique animé. Avec le magnifique grand jardin et le parking intérieur la maison de Resham est un havre de paix en pleine ville.
Nous avons passé trois jours formidables. Resham est chaleureuse et riche de conseils.

Villa Marlene leaves very little to question. The grounds set the tone immediately; ordered, calm, and quietly beautifu, and the sense of serenity follows you in.
I was welcomed right away by the hostess, whose presence elevated the entire stay. Consistently attentive without ever being intrusive, she handled every detail with care and exceeded expectations in a way that felt natural, not performative.
Having spent time in several towns along the Ligurian coast, this was the stay that stood apart. The location is particularly well judged; just steps from the centro storico, with an easy, comfortable walk to both the train and the beach. In practice, this positioning proved more convenient and enjoyable than being directly on the coast. Restaurants, shops, and daily essentials are all close at hand and easy to navigate.
The property itself reflects a level of thoughtfulness that is often missing from typical apartments or hotel accommodations. It is well constructed, notably quiet, and offers a sense of retreat at the end of the day. Small details matter, after long days of travel, having a proper bathtub was not a luxury but a genuine relief.
The food is excellent, the setting is composed, and the overall experience feels cohesive from start to finish. Above all, it is the care behind the place, clearly reflected in how it is run, that defines Villa Marlene.
